Respect The Story
Empower Your Team's Cultural Understanding in Media
Service Description
Respect the Story is a cultural sensitivity and responsible storytelling training designed for media, creative professionals, organizations, and teams working with Indigenous stories, communities, and audiences. This session creates space to learn, reflect, and ask meaningful questions about Indigenous representation, cultural protocols, appropriation and appreciation, reciprocity, and ethical storytelling. Participants leave with practical tools and a stronger understanding of how to approach Indigenous stories and relationships with greater respect, responsibility, and intention. Please inquire with Anawtin to book this session for your organization or group setting. A note on pricing: The fee shown is the starting consultation rate, not the full cost of the service. Every project is different, so we’ll chat about your goals, scope, and needs during your consultation before creating a tailored proposal.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full booking fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability. For services involving additional preparation, travel, or production, separate cancellation terms may apply and will be outlined in your service agreement or proposal. If you have an unexpected circumstance or emergency, please reach out to us—we’re happy to work with you where possible.
